UNWARRANTED CONDITIONS
Prior painted roofs. After the cleaning process the true condition of the tile/tin is revealed. Some paint might be removed during the cleaning process and some paint may remain on the roof. This determines the look of the finished painted roof. Some roofs display irregularity in the finished painted look by way of a duller flat or uneven/patchy satin finish due to the prior painted surface.
Roof Revival does not accept responsibility and is not liable for leaks and damage or any associated costs resulting from storms, extreme weather, or acts of God. Roof Revival Warranty does not warrant against leaks. A Call out Fee of $500.00 will apply together with any costs associated with the purchase and/or supply of materials necessary to rectify the cause of reported leak/s. Where it has been determined that the cause of a leak is from pre-existing cause/s and non-related to the restoration process, all costs, will be borne by the Customer.
Roof Revival Warranty does not warrant against mould growth. Mould spores are impossible to contain or eliminate due to their minute size. It is a recommendation of Roof Revival that a low-pressure wash of the roof surface be carried out every twelve to eighteen months post restoration, as an ongoing maintenance and prevention method for mould growth.
Any warranty is subject to the manufacturer’s guidelines and conditions. The warranty is not transferable from owner to owner.
Roof Revival must inform you that we do not provide warranties for gutters installed between houses and pergolas that do not have structural provisions for box gutters. Here are the reasons for this policy:
1. **Inadequate Water Management**: Gutters installed in areas without proper structural provisions for box gutters may not be able to handle the volume of rainfall effectively. This can lead to overflow, water damage, and other related issues that compromise the integrity of the gutter system and the structures it is meant to protect.
2. **Risk of Overloading**: Without the appropriate structural support, standard gutters in these locations may become overloaded during heavy rainfall. This overloading can result in sagging, detachment, or even collapse of the gutter system.
3. **Potential for Water Damage**: Inefficient water management due to inadequate gutters can cause water to pool or overflow, leading to potential damage to the pergola, house exterior, foundation, and surrounding landscape. This risk is heightened in areas with frequent or intense rainfall.
4. **Non-Compliance with Design Requirements**: Proper gutter systems require specific design considerations, especially in complex areas like those between houses and pergolas. Without the necessary structural provisions for box gutters, the installed gutters may not meet design requirements, reducing their effectiveness and longevity.
Roof Revival must inform you that we do not provide warranties for roofs that have been previously painted or coated. This policy is also in line with industry standards, as most manufacturers do not offer warranties for such roofs. Here are the detailed reasons for this:
1. **Uncertainty of Previous Coating Quality**: The quality of the previous paint or coating application can vary significantly. If the prior application was not done correctly, it could lead to adhesion issues, premature failure, or other complications that are beyond our control.
2. **Compatibility Issues**: The chemical composition of existing roof coatings may not be compatible with new materials or treatments we apply. This can lead to adverse reactions, reduced effectiveness of the new coating, or even damage to the roof.
3. **Undetected Damage**: Previously painted roofs can hide underlying damage such as rust, rot, or structural weaknesses that are not visible during standard inspections. These hidden issues can compromise the effectiveness of any new treatments or repairs.
4. **Adhesion Problems**: The performance of a new coating or treatment is highly dependent on its ability to adhere properly to the roof surface. If the underlying paint or coating is deteriorating, peeling, or compromised in any way, it can prevent proper adhesion, leading to premature failure of the new application.
5. **Aging and Wear**: Previously painted roofs may have experienced significant wear and tear, and the existing coating might have degraded over time. This natural aging process can impact the roof’s ability to hold new treatments effectively, making it difficult to guarantee long-term performance.
6. **Industry Standards**: It is important to note that our policy aligns with industry standards. Most roofing manufacturers do not offer warranties for previously painted or coated roofs for the reasons mentioned above. This industry-wide practice ensures that quality and performance can be reliably maintained and guaranteed.

We regret to inform you that we cannot provide a warranty specifically for roof leaks. Roof leaks can
be exceptionally challenging to detect and diagnose due to a variety of factors, including:
1. Complexity of Detection: Roof leaks often originate from hidden or unexpected areas, making it
difficult to pinpoint the exact source without comprehensive and sometimes invasive investigation.
2. Environmental Factors: Roofs are exposed to various weather conditions, such as heavy rain
and wind, which can unpredictably impact the roof's integrity over time.
3. Material Aging and Wear: Over time, roofing materials naturally age and may develop
weaknesses that are not immediately apparent during inspections. Can be very difficult and time
consuming to detect.
4. Previous Repairs and Installations: The condition and quality of previous repairs or installations
can significantly influence the occurrence and detection of leaks, adding complexity to warranty
coverage.
Despite these challenges, please be assured that our team is committed to addressing any roof leaks
that may arise. We will always work to our best ability to identify and solve roof leaks promptly and
effectively, ensuring the longevity and performance of your roof.
The best process to do this is to have your roof high pressure washed first. After this is done contact
your solar company and ask them to install rails and wiring. When this is finished, we will fully restore
the roof and leave you with spare coated tiles and touch up paint. The solar company final task to
connect the panels to the railing.
Yes, he majority of roof we restore now days do have solar panels. We high pressure the roof and
rinse all panels. When it’s time for painting we cover all panels with a plastic film and paint underneath
the panels, so all visible tiles are coated with primer and colour.
If your tiles are porous this means that they are retaining water which adds significant weight to your
roof and roofing timbers, leading to potential leaks and structural issues. To prevent this we apply a
maxi build primer to the rooftiles when painting. This Ensures that the tiles are coated very thick. All
cracks and rough surfaces on the tiles are filled in turn giving the finish much more appealing and
bolder.
All solar panels rely on a clean surface to be able to work to their optimum capacity. When the surface
gets dirty it restricts the panels’ ability to capture sunlight efficiently and will therefore not produce as
much electricity. Regular cleaning is not only advised for productivity of the panel but also in most
cases to adhere to warranty requirements Aswell.
Whirly vents help your roof space breathe, in turn saving you money on your energy costs.
Roof repairs typically start from $250 for minor tile fixes, while more extensive jobs or full restorations can range from $2,500 to $10,000 depending on roof size and condition.
If your roof has multiple issues like leaks, tile damage, faded paint, or rusted valleys, a roof restoration is often more cost-effective long-term.
Absolutely. We’re licensed, insured, and trusted by hundreds of Adelaide homeowners for quality roof repair and restoration services.
